Retail broker Robinhood has 18 million accounts with $80 billion in assets after rapid growth, IPO filing shows. Worldwide an estimated 100 million+ people are investing actively, with most of them seeking information, advice or other kind of input for their decision making process.
The expert market for other kinds of industries, like legal, tax and healthcare, is much bigger. Given the current adoption of apps, the potential number of users for the expert app could be hundreds of millions.
